I guess this is goodbye (for now)
I didn’t think I’d be sad to leave California, but it turns out I am… We’ve had such an amazing time here and it’s almost been more like a vacation than tour. Not exactly looking forward to going from 75 and sunny here in Santa Monica to cold as balls and windy in Denver tomorrow, but I’m glad we’re playing some great shows the next few nights, and seeing our new friends in Quietdrive again in a couple days.
A huge thanks to everyone here in or around Cali who helped us out: Bennett in Tempe, Patrick and roomies in Santa Monica (who put us up for nearly a week with virtually no complaints!), Ryan in Newport Beach (your pool is amazing, and thanks for the hookup), Stacy and Aaron in Costa Mesa (you make a mean meatball), Sara and everyone at KSCR Los Angeles (your robot owns), Lindsey and Jason at Myspace Records, Joe at Cheap Lullaby Records, DJ Rosstar at Buzznet.com, Katie and Lori B for getting the timing just right, and EVERYONE who came out to any of our shows - you guys and your support makes all of it possible for us!
